With the peak season just around the corner for the DJ industry, we couldn’t have found a better time to announce our India’s Top 20 Djanes. Votes have poured from different corners of the country and almost every Djane whose profile was up on the website got votes. After months of hectic vote counting and checking Djanes’ profiles for other parameters we announced the best in the race.

So now that the party season is right here here’s our guide to what should party goers expect from Djanes this season?

• It’s going to be packed with Djanes!

We’ve been in touch with Djanes across the country and it seems that they are taking charge at most of the premier parties across the country and even abroad.

• You’ve seen a few but there are many more.

You may have become familiar with names of Rink, Paroma, Candice, Shilpi, Julia and the other Djanes but there are many more up and coming artists who are making their mark in the industry.

• Broken stereotypes

We’ve mentioned this earlier and say it again. Over time, the Djanes have struggled through and finally been able to break the barriers and create free paths for the newer Djanes. No more do clubs take up Djanes based on their looks but give importance to their music quality. It’s no more only a man’s job to be a DJ!

With time and sharing through common platforms, Djanes have really upped their game. Djanes are venturing right from Moombahton and Reggaeton to House and Psy and our very favorite Bollywood too! What more than some great music to get our weekends and the festive season rocking.
